Ecology & Habitat

Habitat

Coastal regions, estuaries, salt marshes, and wetlands across temperate and subarctic zones of Europe, western Asia, and northern Africa. Prefer shallow marine and terrestrial water ecosystems with abundant invertebrate populations.
